How to held competitions

Minor competitions are held by members of the group. They may be held maximum of once every two weeks, rewards are given to the creator once they end and judge the competition. They must be open for minimum of 1 weeks and maximum of 3 weeks. The creator must use the official demapis judging regulations. Rewards include ingame money, items, slots, semi customs and more!

Demapis skills

Speed (the speed of the demapi, how fast or how slow it is. It might be needed for sports such as lure coursing)
Strength (the strength of the demapi, it is rarely needed, except for ringsport or illegal sports such as fighting)
Independency (Demapis that can work alone may be a blessing or a curse)
Instinct (how strong their natural instincts are, so lower numbers would mean it lacks the drive to hunt. For some sports it is preferred if the demapi doesnt want to kill anything)
Drive (how strongly it wants to work with the handler, it might be unnecessary for some things but important for others)
Social skills (It says how social or asocial the demapi is. Higher scores are desirable for most sports, but for fighting the goal is to have an aggressive demapi, so it is undesirable)

Older or newly created demapis' skills are randomly rolled. If you own an old demapi, you can choose the top2 highest skill so you can re-start with a little advantage!

Skills can be improved with training, doing activities, competitions and more. Skills bonuses might be given for winning specific competitions or reaching goals. The system is designed so even older demapis have chance against newly bred, naturally higher skilled demapis, so you don't have to abandon your old favourites.

When you breed demapis, each skill is rolled separately. It is rolled with 90% of lowest skilled parent and 110% of the highest. So if the dam has 100 speed and the sire has 90 speed, the offspring would be rolled between 90 * 90% = 81 and 100 * 110% = 110. Bonuses, specific items, high COI, etc might cause higher or lower numbers.

Sports

1. Track and hunt
The masters send their demapis away to track a specific prey that has been released a few days prior. The demapis travel through the woods and capture the prey with minimal damage on the coat or skin. GPS tracking is recommended to use. Track articles might be used.

2. Gunraptor
the demapi is working with their trainer to hunt specified prey item(s). Depending on the trial, the winner might be chosen on the size, number, rarity of the prey.

3. Barn hunt
A non blood sport. The demapi is tasked to find a caged prey animal hidden in a barn, woods, field or area. The demapi must calmly wait for its master. Might be followed by lure coursing.

4. Ringsport
The raptor is tasked to track the decoy before attacking them. The demapi must attack, hold and stop on cues.

Minor sports

Held by members of the Group. Maximum of once every two weeks, rewards are given to the creator once they end and judge the competition. They must be open for minimum of 1 weeks and maximum of 3 weeks. The creator must use the official demapis judging regulations
1. Lure coursing
The demapi must chase a lure. The fastest raptor wins.

2. Tracking
The raptors must follow a track made by a chosen prey item, another demapi or a human. It might be made more difficult by using maximum of 3 scent articles. The end is marked by a seperate article.

3. Displays
The handlers display the skills of their demapis. The raptors display the skills used in Gunraptor.

4. Scentwork
The demapi is tasked to find one specific scent. The scents might be hidden in a room, in the nature or in a city. If the scent is found, the raptor must freeze until the handler releases them.

5. Showing
Similar to dog conformation showing

Underground sports

1. Fighting
The demapis fight aginst eachother in an area. Rewards are slight and  it does not reward titles since it is not an accepted sport.

2. Poaching
Similar to Track and hunt but the raptors hunt rare prey items which can be sold for high prices. As it is not an accepted sport, it does not reward titles or rewards.
All activities, breeding, etc are temporarily closed until further notice. This does not mean that the group will stay closed.
Thank you for your patience!
